Universal Trade Frames supports the launch of new Solidor colour range

Universal Trade Frames, the UK’s largest independent manufacturer of Solidor composite doors – with the exception of Solidor itself – has welcomed the launch of five new colour finishes to the Solidor range, now available across its full composite door offering.

As a long-standing Solidor partner, Universal Trade Frames is supplying the new colours across the full slab range, including the Traditional and Italia Collections, along with matching side panels, stable doors, French doors, and panic exit configurations.

“The introduction of these new finishes has added another dimension to what is already an exceptionally strong product range,” said Richard Hammond, Sales Director at Universal Trade Frames.

“Homeowners are looking for design-led entranceways that reflect their personality, and these colours offer exactly that. For installers, it opens up new conversations and new opportunities to differentiate their offer.”

Alongside Solidor’s complete glass and hardware ranges, Universal also provides exclusive additions, including customisable glass designs and premium hardware from Fab & Fix and Coastal.

All door sets are fabricated at Universal’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Shrewsbury, where the company maintains a 98% OTIF score and consistently high levels of service.

Each door is available with a choice of Spectus ovolo or chamfered outer frame, allowing for a fully suited finish that can be matched to the rest of the property’s window system, a key point of differentiation for Universal’s customers.

“We’ve always seen the Solidor slab as a strong foundation, and we’ve worked hard to build on that with added value that gives our customers a competitive edge,” Richard concluded.

“With these new colours now live, we’re already seeing strong interest, and the feedback from customers has been extremely positive.”
